Burgaw woman named Tax Preparer of Year by Jackson Hewitt | Business

BURGAW, NC (WECT) – Kay Prescott, a Burgaw woman, has been named Tax Preparer of the Year by Jackson Hewitt Tax Service, according to a news release.

The award is given annually to tax preparers who demonstrate excellence in tax preparation, customer service, proactive learning and brand loyalty. Prescott was chosen as one of 15 among the company’s network of 25,000 employees.

The tax preparer recognition program began in 2008.

Jackson Hewitt is based out of Parsippany, NJ.
