Animal shelter to add 2 new positions | Business

PENDER COUNTY, NC (WECT) – The Pender County Animal Shelter will be getting some help.

Commissioners voted to add one full and one part time position at the shelter.

The board decided extra hands are desperately needed, so the positions were added immediately instead of waiting until the next year’s budget.

The money for the positions will come from contingency funds.
