Sweepstakes parlors voluntarily shut down | Business
PENDER COUNTY, NC (WECT) – A handful of sweepstakes parlors in Pender County are no longer in business.
According to the Town’s Planning Director, about five venues which had applied for special use permits have all shut down voluntarily.
This move stems on the recent ban on the establishments that went into effect January 3, 2013.
