More filming could soon take place in Burgaw
PENDER COUNTY, NC (WECT) – More filming could soon return to the Burgaw area. NBC’s Revolution has expressed interest in filming in the area at the end of the month.
Several scenes were shot in the old jail and in the train depot for the show last fall.
A new series by Stephen King called Under the Dome has also expressed interest in filming in Burgaw. They would film in the courthouse and community building in about six weeks.
Representatives from the new series will be visiting the area Thursday.
No official applications have been filed yet for either show.
