Extras needed for TV series ‘Under the Dome’ | Community Spirit

BURGAW, NC (WECT) – Extras are needed Wednesday for a new TV series based on a Stephen King novel called Under The Dome.

Filming will take place in the Burgaw area, and extras who apply should be available 12 or more hours.

According to a Facebook page for the company in charge of casting extras, men ages 20 to 45 years old with navy pants and black boots are needed to portray firemen.

Background extras who are 18 years old and up are needed, some of whom are asked to apply if they have a car/truck/SUV that is not bright red or white.

African-Americans who are 18 and up are also needed.

One extra in particular is needed for a photo double. This person should be 6-foot-3 and around 200 pounds with a shaved head. Additionally, a girl between the ages of 10 and 14 is needed with her own bike that she can ride.

Both of these special roles will pay more than regular extras.
