PENDER COUNTY, NC (WECT) - Pender County will be holding an open house to solicit input for the Local Transportation Prioritization Program.
According to a press release, staff will accept submissions for potential transportation improvement projects, which will be forwarded to the Wilmington Metropolitan Planning Organization or the Cape Fear Rural Planning Organization to be included in the NCDOT’s bi-annual prioritization process.
The first open house will take place on Tuesday, Oct. 29 from 5 p.m. until 6:30 p.m. in the public meeting room, located at 805 S. Walker St. in Burgaw.
There will be another session on Wednesday, Oct. 30 from 5 p.m. until 6:30 p.m. at the Hampstead Library, located at 75 Library Dr. in Hampstead.
