Family home destroyed in fire | Families

PENDER COUNTY, NC (WECT) - All hands on deck weren't enough stop a modular home fire early Monday morning in the Penderlea area.

Fire units from Penderlea, Burgaw, Shiloh, Atkinson and Harrell's were dipatched for the fire on Bay Road, but it wasn't enough.

Volunteer firefighter Jared Paul-Thomas Cobb said the home was completely destroyed.

No injuries were reported and the cause of the fire has not been determined.
