Sellers takes leave of absence at Trask | News
ROCKY POINT, NC (WECT) - According to Trask athletic director Ed Gilroy, football coach Glenn Sellers will take a leave of absence for the remainder of the season due to health reasons.
Assistant coach Bill Mercier will serve as interim head coach.
"I am taking a leave of absence to get well." Sellers said Tuesday evening. "I will still be at the school teaching and supporting the players and coaches."
The Titans are off to an 0-3 start this season and have gone 12-25 since Sellers took over the program at the start of the 2009 season.
Trask hosts Midway on Friday night in the conference opener for both teams.
