Photo Gallery | Burgaw officials develop rendering of future park

BURGAW, NC (WECT) – Officials in Burgaw have rendered designs for the future park that will be constructed on the undeveloped portion of the CFCC Burgaw Campus.

The Board of Trustees at Cape Fear Community College voted in August to grant an easement to the Town of Burgaw so they can develop the park.

The land is located next to the college's classroom facilities on Industrial Drive and will be developed into a public park.

CFCC President Dr. G. Frank Sells applauded the decision and says that it will be mutually beneficial to both parties.

Burgaw Town Manager Chad McEwen expressed his appreciation to the trustees for their support of the project and said that the he expects the park to be open within the next six months.
